La 7e édition mise à jour et révisée de "Martyrologie allemande" est présentée ici.

A l'initiative du pape Jean-Paul II. en 1994, il est considéré comme faisant partie du projet global de l'histoire des martyrs du XXe siècle. 160 experts, en collaboration avec des diocèses et des ordres religieux, ont élaboré les biographies de 900 martyrs catholiques et les ont présentées en quatre catégories : martyrs pendant la terreur hitlérienne ; martyrs sous le communisme ; martyr puritatis des filles, des femmes, des religieuses et de leurs protecteurs; martyrs des zones de mission.

Éditeur: Prélat Prof. Dr. Helmut Moll, a étudié la théologie catholique et l'histoire, a obtenu son doctorat en 1973 du prof. Dr. Joseph Ratzinger à Ratisbonne. Il a été ordonné prêtre en 1976, 1984-1995 au service de la Curie romaine, depuis 1998 il travaille comme commissaire aux procès de béatification et de canonisation dans l'archidiocèse de Cologne. Commissaire de la Conférence épiscopale allemande pour le martyrologe du XXe siècle. Professeur à l'Université des Sciences Appliquées de Weilheim.

The 7th, updated and revised edition of the "German Martyrology" is hereby presented.

Initiated by Pope John Paul II in 1994, it sees itself as part of the overall project of the history of martyrs in the 20th century. In cooperation with the dioceses and religious orders, 160 experts have drawn up biographies of 900 Catholic martyrs and presented them in four categories: the martyrs under Hitler's terror; the martyrs in the communist era; the martyrdom puritatis of girls, women, nuns and their protectors; the martyrs from the mission areas.
